Chosen for Strong Leadership and Success in Enterprise Supply Management Industry

Sherry Gordon, vice president of supplier performance intelligence at Emptoris, was honored as a Provider Pro to Know for the second time. Gordon brings more than 25 years of experience within the supply and demand chain industry. Prior to joining Emptoris, she was founder of Valuedge, Inc., which was recently acquired by Emptoris. Valuedge offered a web-enabled business assessment product, which is used for supplier assessment, certification, and performance improvement that is now part of the Emptoris application suite. Gordon is viewed as a true pioneer in enterprise measurement and process improvement techniques.

Also in the Provider Pro to Know category, Sean Devine, director of client services at Emptoris, was recognized for already making a big impact in his brief but powerful five year career. He has demonstrated his thought-leadership by driving the market for optimization in strategic sourcing, generating early adoption with many Fortune 500 companies. In just five years, Devine has worked on more than $2 billion of sourcing projects that have saved companies over $200 million dollars. At Emptoris, Devine leads his team of sourcing professionals to solve the strategic and tactical challenges of Emptoris clients.
