the “Enterprise Application Technology” award for its

Massachusetts Interactive Media Council (MIMC) Awards. This is
the second time this year Emptoris has been recognized with a MIMC
Award. Emptoris was named “Company of the Year” in
MIMC’s 2003 Leadership Awards in June. Emptoris VP of Marketing
Steven Ricketts accepted the award for Emptoris at an invitation-only
ceremony in Boston on October 21. The MIMC Awards recognize excellence in the creation of interactive
technologies designed, produced or developed in New England.
The Emptoris Sourcing Portfolio was awarded for its innovation
and effectiveness in automating business processes and in providing
business solutions to the enterprise. The MIMC Awards is one
of the largest and most prestigious interactive and technology
awards competition in the country. More than 1,000 professionals

and Fortune 1000 companies attended the awards ceremony.
