Jouhal brings more than 22 years of technology, accounting, consulting and management experience to the company. Jouhal is responsible for further expanding Emptoris’ presence in Europe. Based in the United Kingdom, he heads up a team of sales, marketing and professional services professionals that will identify and cultivate growth and partnership opportunities throughout the Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA).
Jouhal brings a highly successful track record in enterprise information technology sales and general management, and has proven knowledge of the EMEA region markets and cultures. Prior to joining Emptoris, Jouhal was vice president of operations and general manager at Ariba, Inc. Responsible for the EMEA region, his work with Ariba translated to millions of dollars in new software licenses, professional services growth, and maintenance and support revenue. Jouhal has also held senior management positions at major organizations, including Nortel Networks, Clarify Inc., Remedy Corporation and BMC Software.
