Using version 4.0 of the Emptoris Sourcing Portfolio, Syngenta will be able to reduce product costs and shorten sourcing cycle times when sourcing goods and services for its crop protection products. New software modules in version 4.0, including contract management, project management and supplier assessment, will enable Syngenta to better manage contractual relationships, improve repeatability of the sourcing process, and quickly and cost-effectively assess the supply base. In addition, Emptoris’ new Smart Data Framework will provide Syngenta with enhanced control and decision-making accuracy.
