BURLINGTON, Mass., August 13, 2002 - Emptoris, Inc., a leading provider of collaborative strategic sourcing solutions, today announced that it has added Susan Stevenson to its executive management team. Stevenson brings over 24 years of experience in the technology sector to Emptoris. As Vice President of Strategic Corporate Development, she is responsible for increasing Emptoris’ traction in the strategic sourcing market space, as well as for developing corporate and selling strategies.
Prior to joining Emptoris, Stevenson was President of U.S. Operations for Healy Hudson, a German eProcurement software company. Stevenson began her career with Digital Equipment Corporation in Silicon Valley and spent 17 years in various sales and marketing roles. Over the last several years, she has held executive roles in sales, marketing, services and general management with Computervision Services, Praxis, and Applix. Stevenson has a BS degree from Pennsylvania State University and also attended the Executive Program at Yale University School of Management.
