How do I make a room reservation?
Rooms are being held at the Westin Copley Place, Boston, MA at a negotiated reduced rate of $279pp + tax, room only.  Please reference group booking code Emptoris Empower.  Please note that these rooms will only be held until September 30, 2011 so please book your rooms early.  

Which airport is closest to the event?
Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is located a mere 4 miles from the Westin Copley Place, Boston.

What is the dress code for Empower 2011?
Business casual is suggested. We also recommend bringing a jacket or sweater as Boston can be cooler in the evenings in October.

What is the cost to Empower 2011?
The 'Early Bird' conference fee is $795. This promotional rate will end on July 31, 2011 at which point the conference registration fee will be $895. This fee includes conference fees, all onsite meals (including breakfast), gala dinner, event entertainment and hotel amenities.  Flight, offsite meals, and accommodation fees are not included.

What if I have a large group attending?
Please contact Kate Haughton at khaughton@emptoris.com for consideration for a group discount, but please do so prior to registering for the event.  In addition, all travel and hotel expenses are each attendee’s responsibility. Most meals are included in the conference fee. See the Agenda page for further details.

Can attendees bring family members?
The attendee’s guest or spouse is welcome to join during the attendee’s stay in Boston. The business meetings and scheduled meals are for attendees only and we ask that you respect the other members of the conference. Non-registered guests are free to enjoy the hotel amenities, but should remember that the purpose of the hotel that week is for Emptoris to host this great event for our customers.

Can attendees come pre- or post-event to enjoy
the many Boston amenities?
Absolutely. Attendees and their families are encouraged to come before or stay after the event. Hotel reservations can be made on the hotel registration website. Alternatively reservations can also be made by calling the hotel at: 617.262.9600.
