How do I make a room reservation?

Which airport is closest to the event?
Boston’s Logan International Airport is recommended as your arrival point and is 95 miles from the event. However, for those wishing to find alternate airports, Providence’s T.F. Green Airport is 95 miles, Hartford is 175 miles and NYC’s LaGuardia is 245 miles. Direction can be found on here or on the Ocean Edge website.

What is the dress code for Empower 2008?
Business casual is suggested. We recommend bringing a jacket or sweater to accommodate hotel air conditioning and evening activities. The average daytime temperature for Cape Cod is 71° F during the day, but can get chilly in the evenings.  The hotel boasts several fantastic pools and don’t forget the myriad of outdoor activities and golf provided during the event.  (Just don’t try to wear your golf shoes to the conference!!)

Will I have a chance to explore Cape Cod?
We have scheduled a dinner out on Thursday evening where you and your colleagues can enjoy the historic views of Hyannis, the great shopping at Chatham or indulge in some decadent meals in Orleans. Need more? Feel free to rent bikes from the hotel, or rent a car and stay longer to explore the many bounties of the Cape in Autumn.

What is the cost to Empower 2008?
Standard Registration: US $995.  This includes conference fees, all onsite meals, event entertainment and complimentary shuttle service to the resort and many hotels amenities. Flight, offsite meals, and hotel fees are not included.

Have a large group attending?  Please contact Todd Wilms at twilms@emptoris.com for consideration for a group discount, but please do so prior to registering for the event.

In additional, all travel and hotel expenses are each attendee’s responsibility.  Most meals are included in the conference fee. See the Agenda page for further details.

Do I have to be a customer to attend?
Not at all. Non-customers, analysts, and media are invited to attend.  Non-customers are encouraged to work directly with your sales contact or to direct further enquires to Todd Wilms, Director of Marketing at twilms@emptoris.com). Your queries will be promptly addressed.

Can I bring family members?
Your guest or spouse (must be over the age of 21) is welcome to join you for scheduled meals at the conference by purchasing a meal ticket for $395 during the registration process.  The business meetings are for attendees only and we ask that you respect the other members of the conference. Non-registered guests are free to enjoy the hotel amenities, but should remember that the purpose of the hotel that week is for Emptoris to host this great event for our customers.

Can we come pre- or post-event to enjoy the many Cape Cod amenities?
Absolutely.  Attendees and their families (over 21) are encouraged to come before or stay after the event. Reservations are handled through the hotel directly by phone at USA 800-343-6074.
