How do I make a room reservation?
The Emptoris hotel room block closed on August 20th. If you have registered for the conference and require a hotel room, please email Han Wang at hwang@emptoris.com and provide your check-in and check-out details. Han will be happy to secure a hotel room for you. Thank you again for registering for this year's Empower Conference, we look forward to seeing you at the Welcome Reception on September 14th.
Which airport is closest to the event?
Boston’s Logan International Airport is recommended as your arrival point and is 3 miles from the event. However, for those wishing to find alternate airports, Providence’s T.F. Green Airport is 59 miles, Hartford is 105 miles and NYC’s LaGuardia is 210 miles. Directions can be found on here or on the Renaissance Boston Waterfront website.
What is the dress code for Empower 2010?
Business casual is suggested. We recommend bringing a jacket or sweater to accommodate hotel air conditioning and evening activities. The average daytime temperature for Boston is 73° F (23° C) during the day, but can get chilly in the evenings. The hotel boasts a fantastic indoor pool and don’t forget the myriad of outdoor activities.
What is the cost to Empower 2010?
Standard Registration: US $995. This includes conference fees, all onsite meals, event entertainment and many hotels amenities during the dates of conference. Flight, offsite meals, and hotel fees are not included.
Early Bird Registration Fee of $795 ends July 9th, 2010.
Have a large group attending?
Please contact Lori Webber at lwebber@emptoris.com for consideration for a group discount, but please do so prior to registering for the event.
In additional, all travel and hotel expenses are each attendee’s responsibility. Most meals are included in the conference fee. See the Agenda page for further details.
Do I have to be a customer to attend?
Not at all. Non-customers, analysts, and media are invited to attend. Non-customers are encouraged to work directly with your sales contact or to direct further enquires to Lori Webber at lwebber@emptoris.com. Your queries will be promptly addressed.

Can attendees bring family members?
The attendee’s guest or spouse is welcome to join during the attendee’s stay in Boston. The business meetings and scheduled meals are for attendees only and we ask that you respect the other members of the conference. Non-registered guests are free to enjoy the hotel amenities, but should remember that the purpose of the hotel that week is for Emptoris to host this great event for our customers.
Can attendees come pre- or post-event to enjoy the many Boston amenities?
Absolutely. Attendees and their families are encouraged to come before or stay after the event. Hotel reservations can be made on the hotel registration website. Alternatively reservations can also be made by calling the hotel at 1-800-266-9432. Please mention that you are an attendee of Emptoris Empower 2010.
