Emptoris Buyer Training

This 3 ½-day lab-intensive course exposes the first-time user to the tools and techniques to successfully create and manage sourcing events using Emptoris. The course is based on business best practices and teaches students how to apply Emptoris functionality to real-world sourcing events. Through a combination of lectures and hand-on labs, students are exposed to the following:

• Emptoris product overview
• Project management
• Creating, responding to, and scoring RFx events
• Creating and monitoring reverse auctions
• Analysis through optimization
• Managing supplier performance KPIs and scorecards
• Managing supplier contracts, terms, and conditions
• Importing/exporting
• System messaging
• Reporting

Method of Delivery:
Specific topics can be taught as standalone half- or full-day courses, depending on customer needs

Target Audience:
Users involved in the sourcing process within their organization
