This 3-day course is designed to educate power users on advanced sourcing functionality
and enable them to make more informed decisions. There is a focus on
optimization and empowering users to take into consideration various constraints
and policies during the decision-making process. Through a combination of lectures,
hands-on exercises, and case studies, students are exposed to the following:
- Detailed use of bid form customization for complex bidding events
- Detailed use of bid field formulas as cost drivers for calculating total cost
- Creation of scenarios using optimization to decide how to best allocate
sourcing awards based on supplier pricing, non-pricing criteria, and
corporate purchasing policies
